US acoustics amp

i'm thinking about getting the US acoustics USX-1000D amp.
430 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms
750 watts x 1 at 2 ohms
1250 watts x 1 at 1 ohm
class d mono block
but look it has 2 sets of speaker outputs

here's what they said:
Quote
Speaker Output: This is a Class D subwoofer amplifier. There are two +/- pair of terminals, but they are connected together internally, and they provide mono output. If two 4-ohm speakers are connected, one to each set of terminals, the amplifier will see a 2-ohm load, because the terminals are internally connected in parallel with each other. In addition, if two 2-ohm speakers are connected, one to each set of terminals, the amplifier will see a 1-ohm load.
does anyone know if i could just use one set of the speaker outputs instead of using both? its cause i'm planning on hooking up 3 JL audio 12w6. 6 ohm DVC.

Yeah I would like to know cause I will be in the market in the not too distant future for an amp to put out power to either two Eclipse Alums or 2 JL 12w6 dvc subs. HOw much are those amps?

KIt has 2 speaker outputs..but each is wired to the same transistor output. It's just there to make wiring easier. like if your running two 2 ohm subs and want to use 10 guage speaker wire. Wiring both subs to the amp directly.one at each input would give you a 1ohm load. it would eb the same as trying to jam 2 sets of speaker wires to 1 output.

Hey mohawk, just wondering if you have any experience with those amps? Are they any good, do they truely put out their rated power, are they dependable and what is pricing like? Also, will one of their smaller amps (something for 6.5"s and maybe 6x9"s sound clean?)

I know I could find all this info by looking around on the internet, but I just woke up and don't feel like looking. Sorry.

Cool, thanks for the info. I think I'm gonna take a chance and try the US acoustic amps. I've changed my mind a million times and I wanna try JL's W6V2, so I'm gonna have a pair of those in the trunk. The only think I can't decide on is what head unit and components I want.

Hey, I was just looking at US acoustics website and they only have a USX-1000F listed, not a 1000D.

I guess the D is the older one. I was thinking the F was a misprint, but I saw a USX-1000F on ebay for about $280. Is that a good buy?
