which amp to push 3 12w6
hey, i was just wondering whats a good/cheap amp to push 3 12w6s. these are 6 ohm DVC and handle about 325 wrms. i was looking to get a jbl bp1200.1 but my friends first amp was a jbl and it blew within 6 months. i'm looking for something under $400. are power acoustiks good? i know they're not a company like kicker or PPI but i know people with power acoustik amps and lcd screens and they run pretty good, especially for their price.
i'm thinking about gettin the 3 w6s or just 1 power hx2, either way they both can be wired at 1 ohm or 4 ohms and could handle around 1000 wrms

Rep Power: 0 dont even compare one fosgate 12 to 3 jl 12's.... thats like saying i want one civic over 3 bmw's... btw, the 1200.1 would be fine, i haven't heard of anyone else's blowing, but your electrical system will love you for it

Rep Power: 416 i heard the fosgate is louder then 2 JLs. i'm going to SPL and not SQ.
but ya the 3 JLs are gunna cost me more even tho its used, thats why i'm kinda thinking about it. i just want 2 so i'm trying to sell one but i'm not getting any buyers and my friend doesnt want to part it.

Rep Power: 416 eh, these arent eh v2s, its the old ones.. it says they push 300 continiously but i remember somewhere that said you could push it 400 safely as well, but ya 1000 for 3 subs is fine with me...

Rep Power: 0 the fosgate is as loud as 2 w6's but its not as clean.....no where near!!!
If you want maximum thump, i'd get a pair of fosgate punch hx2 15's and throw them in a large ported box.
If you want clean sounds, I'd stay JL.
