decision, decisions
so for 4 infinity kappa's ... i believe they are rated at 75 each at 4 ohms
my max price is 250 - 260
1 - PPI PCX-440 -- 40 x 4 @ 4 ohms (probably conservatively rated)-- $269
2 - hifonics zeus z440 -- 55 x 4 @ 4 ohms -- $199
3 - fosgate punch 500X -- 62.5 x 4 @ 4 ohms -- $245
4 - kenwood KAC 849 -- 50 x 4 @ 4 ohms -- $249
5 - kicker kx600.4 -- 75 x 4 @ 4 ohms -- $269
any opinions on these? ,or maybe others at this price

PPI amps are rated pretty much right on.. it might put out 42Wrms..but not less than 40.. theyuse VERY tightly regulator power supplies. Of those I'd grab the Kicker..More power.. great frequency response
i have an infinity kappa 255a for sale for $200 if you want it. Its got 4 channels and gives 50w to each channel. It also have a subwoofer channel that pumps out 200w to the sub. I have pics and It still ahs time left on the warranty. e-mail me at iswki@aol.com or click here.

I would probably go with that Kenwood. I had two Kenwood amps that I used for about 6 months and my cousin used for about 2 years before me (and we did abuse these things) and they were still working fine when i sold them, so I personally would never question Kenwood's reliability. The PPI is a good amp, and is supposed to be super clean sounding (I doubt you will be able to tell the difference of the 110db S/N ratio of the PPI and the ~95db S/N ratio of the Kenwood).
The Kenwood you can get for $180 new on ebay - Click here
The Kicker for $240 new on ebay - Click here
The PPI for ~$250 new on ebay - Click here
The Rockford for $218 new on ebay - Click here
God, how I love ebay

Well, that makes more sense, I would rather pay $20 and be able to pick something up then pay $15 (for shipping) and have to wait for up to a week to get it.
So, have you decided on which amp your getting?
