i have infinity kappa 60.5cs components and i am loooking to install them this week. I went to go buy spacers and they had 1/2" and 1" im worried the 1/2" might be too small but the 1" look freakin huge! Anyone have these speakers and can tell me what size i should get? they are going in a 2k1 LX Sedan. thanks.

1/2" Sould to it.. if it's not enough use the speaker rings for an extra 1/8" of an inch..

Oh, an by the way, I installed these same speakers in my cousin's civic (7th gen), and they'll fit with a 1/2" spacer.

im getting them from best buy. they are $13. i was going to get the ones from crutchfield for $9 but then shipping would have probably made it even, and id have to wait for those whereas i can get the ones from best buy and have them right now. Its raining today though so im not able to get them installed. tomorrow perhaps.

i used a 5/8 inch mdf ring and still didnt fit so i uesd accouple layers of rammat [IMG]i/expressions/laugh2.gif[/IMG]

Yer rainbowa are a little vigger tho [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].. Mine I had to cut out some sheetmetal and use 1"spacer and the speaker ring..
