Component install?

Is there a DIY on components installation? I know its pretty simple, but I just wanted to see how others did theirs.

Thanks,
Steve

there's no DIY that I know of. I installed components in my LX w/o tweeter pods. I put the crossovers in the center console next to the ebrake (tight fit) and ran the wire into each door through the ruber gromet. I installed my tweeters with a 45 degree mount angle into the cabin on the black plastic piece above the door, to the front. Obviously you can get the tweeter pods from you local honda dealer. I didn't go this way because I didn't want to mess with making sure my tweets fit into them.. if you want pics Email me

I had to make spacers to fit my focal 6.5"s. The Focal tweeters did not look good in the stock tweeter spots so I just put the stock tweeters in there and put the focals in the kick panels.

Focal Install

Believe it or not, neither I or any of my passengers have kicked them out yet. I have an auto so that kind of explains it, but I like the location because the tweeter is not blasting you in the face with high frequency sound. My crossovers are on the little shelf below the steering wheel for easy adjustment.
