If you could have ANYTHING you wanted on an amplifier, what would it be. Display's? Buttons for...? Anything, what would it be?

If its a sub, a remote gain control is nice for those times you want to crank it a little more.

I appreciate the response but I'm looking for somthing that nobody else has. I am a design engineer for a car audio company that I know you've heard of and we're making a new amp. Due to confidentiality agreements I am not allowed to say for whom and exactly what but I would like to incorporate ideas that anyone may have.

maybe a remote screen that displays statistics on the amp like temp, input and output power, and all that good stuff.

I like the remote screen with amp(s) stats. Hrmm. I can't really think of anything that's new and uniqe right now.

Maybe an outlet where we could plug in an external cooling fan(s)? You could use the same plug/outlet as computer mobo fans. The fan would be controlled by the amp depending on the temp. (not sure if this is new or unique).

a special key so if you try and dissconnect it from power it will zap you. unless you have the key.

a screen that tells you how much power your actually putting out

the AUX fan connector is a good idea.

An incorporated 12 band EQ that's controlled by a small touch screen that can be mounted inside the car somewhere.. wireless? Some sort of amazing new device to prevent theft would be nice too.. maybe a lojack sysytem within the car.. or an alarm wire ya know like how decks used to come with alarms? Just something that would plug into my aftermarket alarm and would set off the alarm if the amp got yoinked.

or maybe just an EQ in general so I don't have to go buy a separate processor.. but make it be a quality EQ! will I get paid if you guys actually make my AmpQ? Ha! look at that! I made a name for it too! i'm gonna be rich..

There is something everyone wants from an amp...more power output and less distortion...other than that the only thing that would be convinent would be remote gain controls.

what about a feature like on most of the new head units where u have to input a code if the power gets disconnected.
