infinity perfect 12"

i jsut got my amp and i'm getting set to install my system. I have eerything i need but i wanted to ask a quick question. I have an Infinity 255a which is 50x4 and 200x1 for the sub. I know that thats not going to be enough power to run the 12" even though i only have one so I am looking into getting a JBL 600.1. any thoughts or suggestions? let me know. thanks

one other quick question. I dont now too much about sub enclosures so please dont laugh if this is a stupid question. I need a box for my 12" infinity perfect. will this box be all right? Im planning on making a custom enclosure in the spare tire area but i leave for bootcamp in a month and so i just want something temporary right now. Will that box sound alright? should i not go with a bandpass box? I heard these things once when the guys trunk was open and they sounded horrible. I want them to have something to bounce against so they will sound good even when the trunk is open and i am showing them off. I figured bandpass is what i want then. please help.

If the box is just going to be temporary, I'd just get a sealed box.

Hey, I'd like to hear the Perfect 12 when you're finished. I was thinking of the same setup (Perfect 12 in spare tire well), so I'd like to give it a test listen (even if it isn't mounted in the spare tire well yet). Shoot me a PM. I'm like 5 minutes from Orland.

ANy decent 1.0 cu.ft sealed box will do temporarily.. Also..with 200Wrms. you might want to look intfinity Kappa subs.. not the perfects. They bump good and sound quite good and play lower than the perfects..

the Perfects can take a healthy 500Wrms sealed without troubles.. 600 might be pushing it a little too much. If you get that amp. Just make sure you don't crank the sub too hard.
