Pioneer Speakers

I was wondering if anyone has purchased any Pioneer Speakers.. I just got mine installed today and they are Pioneer ts-a1667 Front speakers 6.5 and they cost $99.00 and cost me 60 more to get it installed at Best Buy.. But i just got these speakers and i sorta expected more crisp sounds from these speakers.. If anyone has bought pioneer speakers.i was wondering which front speakers are a good type which provide clear crisp sound. If not pioneer what's a better brand that mite provide clear, crisp sound?? i need help

I picked up those Pioneer 3 ways for my doors. I paid $60 for them and installed them myself. I have Kenwood 3 way 6X9's in the rear and for some reason you can hear them but they over power the 6.5 Pioneers speakers. It doesnt even sound like they are on.

Have you tried adjusting the balance or fade (call me stupid but i forgot which one does which) Adjust it to where your front speakers are a little louder, that should balance it out

Balance is Left to Right.
Fade is Front to Rear.

Unless of course you have it hooked up wrong. hehe. Fade it a little more to the front.

I just ordered the Pioneer 1667's from Crutchfield, and I will be installing them next week sometime. I had the previous-generation Pioneer speakers in my last car, and I loved 'em! What are you driving them with, Dticalman? Is it an amp or the head unit? I plan on running my fronts and a sub with a 3-channel amp (like in the old car) & powering the stock (for now) rears with the Pioneer 6400 head unit. Adjusting the fading might help, as UncleB pointed out -- I have mine faded 3 or 4 steps to the front.

I had this same problem! and it is really annoying with the back being louder then the front. I turned up the gain on my amp for the front speakers so that they were slightly louder then the backs. The other option is to adjust you fader.

if the speakers don't sound crisp enough, they might just need more power to do so. did you amp yours?
