Help-noise won't go away

I have been reading this forum for a while now, but I have never joined because I could always find my questions answered somewhere in here. Anyway, although there have been many questions and answers on this, nothing I have tried has worked. This has been my first install on my own and everything was going fine until I replaced the factory components with a some polk components in the front and infinity reference 3-way 6 by 9s in the back. When I did this I started to get a clicking noise when my car was on and it would whine louder when I hit the gas. I have tried EVERYTHING that has been suggested on the boards, but nothing works! My power line is on the driver's side and my RCA's are on the passenger's side. I have made sure that my grounds are solid for both of my amps. It seems to decrease when my gains are low, but I have to turn the gain ALL the way down for it to go away. The only thing that I can think of is that I installed my CD changer under the driver's seat with the wires running down the center. Would this be the problem? The changer would be right next to where the power cord is running by through the driver's side panels. Also, in reading the boards I have noticed that most people who have this problem are running something through the center console. Could the interference be going through my CD changer's cord to my radio and causing all of my speakers (except subs) to click? Is that possible? Anyway, this is driving me NUTS!

Thanks for your help!

It actually happens all of the time. Would it matter that my RCA's are running near my ground?

I am using Monster wiring all the way around. Even though my system is average I wanted good wiring to try and prevent something like this from happening.
I also bought a couple of those filters, and it did not do anything besides make a weird noise of it's own.

Basically move your RCA wires as far as possible away from the power and ground wires..

Thanks Mohawk! I will try this tonight when I get home from work. I am going to feel real stupid if it is because the RCA is too close to my ground because I have spent lots of time adjust and taking stuff apart. But I have learned that it is usually the most simple things that get overlooked!

Well, I think that I solved the problem. I tried several more things tonight and nothing seemed to work. I was about to give up so I pulled out my head unit while my car was running (I have always been paranoid about doing this because I didn't want to blow anything) but it was my last resort. When I pulled my head unit out the noise seemed to almost go away. So, to make a long story short I tucked my wiring in differently when I put my radio back in and the noise is now almost non-existant. Hopefully it works the same tomorrow! Don't know how to explain it, but I am not going to question it.

Well my noise came back! Can anyone tell me where the factory ground is connected on the metal of the car?
Maybe it is that ground that is loose? Whenever I pull the radio completely out the noise goes away, but as soon as I put it back in it makes the noise agian with the engine on. Any ideas?

Crutchfield has a good diagnosing noise process. I hope it helps.
