You need self-tapping screws to mount the actuators (get them at a hardware store). As for connecting them to the locks, you connect them to the rod coming down from the lock pushy thing on the inside of the door.

Ya i would like to do the same. I am tired to using the key too. I was going to install some automatic locks, too, but honda said that the DX is not set up to have them installed. Sounds funny, but let me what you figure out. I don't see why any car that doens't come with the auto locks, why they can't be installed at any time.

any solenoids you install in yoru car will be a total custom job. i dont envy you, its gonna take a couple weekends of work to install my door poppers, ALL custom fabrication.

you have your work cut out for you, for sure.

it took professional installers three DAYS to figure out my coworker's door poppers for his civic.

Great how exciting!!! Can't wait. Is it even worth the trouble?? From the sounds of it no, but I do really wan them?? i even found them hella cheap. 3 days? wow crazy. How much did you all pay for your automatic lock? Just curious, to see if its a ripo off.
