matching HU color and gauge cluster
hi. newbie here. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/IMG]
anywayz, i was just wondering if there were any HU's out there that match the color of our gauge cluster (that cool red [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]).
something withing the $200-400 range would be preferable.
i've seen some sony HU's that have red buttons but a bright blue LCD display. didn't like it too much though, colors clashed. [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/IMG]

Rep Power: 0 the Nakamichi Head Units would match our gauge cluster nicely they have orange displays and are very sweet and simple.

Rep Power: 0 My Kenwood HU has like 67 colors so it will match pretty much any color ur gauges are
edit: with my kenwood u can change the buttons from red to green, i have the kdc-mpv7019 model

VTECxtc, i was looking for the same thing before i bought my deck.
but i think its nicer to have a variety of colors which contrast the red.
i bought the Pioneer 940 which is blue and aqua, and it looks sweet with the red. just a thought.

Rep Power: 0 i have the kenwood kdc-mpv619. its sweet its got the 67 colors and i have yet to have a problem with it. im hooking up all of my system by the end of the month so ill let you know how it works with all that.

You can adjust the contrast, dimmer level, color of the buttons plus adjust about anything you want to with the sound.. it is freakin awsome!! 269 shipped from onlinecarstereo.com It's a pre-amp only though.. better sq if you have amps for your interior speakers.. VERY VERY impressive HU for the money
