Capacitor question
I just got a Monster capacitor and it says to charge it first with the supplied resistor. For one, there is no resistor in the package and two, I am confused as to what it means. Thanks guys!

No resistor..use a test light.. Basically you have to Charg it as if it were a battery.. you do this by supplying power to the terminals as you would a battery..if you don't use a resistor or a test light..you'll get a Nice big spark..and you'll make small burns into the terminals..but it will charge..

the monster cap does have the resistor in the package- its hidden though usually taped to some piece of the styrofoam or directions. believe me, EVERYONE that buys one says it isnt in the package but it is. dude im telling you it was in there you just didnt see it its very small and hard to find.
everyone that buys a monster cap says there isnt a resistor in the package, but trust me it's there in the styrofoam. did you throw everything away already? its hard to see cause its so small, but 99% of the time, customers find out that they missed it
