wouldnt putting speakers in that location on the back doors of a sedan kill the imaging of the whole car ? just a thought...you might want to check in I.C.E

nothign is really wrong with that , if your put a good set of comp in front, and a good coax in back you really wnt need the door speakers, i mean if that is what you like go for it , but it really wont mess with imaging if it is done right , with the proper amplification

CRANKINCIVIC is right. if u use a component set in the front and a nice set in the rear deck, u should be fine. speakers are actually positioned in the car for best audible reception by the passengers...so if u go and start foolin with locations of speakers, u might start to make ur stereo system sound even worse. just go get some HIGH QUALITY speakers, and use the extra money on a decent 4 channel amp to power the surround speakers, or maybe even a beginning to some thump in the trunk... just my 2 cents...

I meant NO, no speakers in rear doors in fact no speakers in the rear deck, only speakers up front, must stage car well, spend all money on bad *** front components and use the extra 200-300 dollars u would spend on the rear door speakers and rear deck speakers on better fornt door speakers, 6.5s!

may I suggest MB Quart.

I dont know much about the whole sound aspect of what your asking, but from what ive heard, it would be somewhat of a waste to have speakers in the back doors. more importantly, i dont think there would really be anyway to have front door panel on the back door since their different sizes and shapes. If you really want to install speakers on those doors then I would just cave in and have the back door panels cut, you could always find or make grill covers that closely mimick the front ones and paint them to match the interior color. But if everyone thinks that putting speakers here is a waste then I wouldnt really bother.
