i just came across another bit of money for me to waste..i was thinkin of gettin these components to form the stepping-stone of what is to be my first setup.
as i jus said im new to installing audio equipment so lemme know what you think of this stuff...

Audiobahn: AW1208Q Flame Compression 12" Subs
ABV125Q Dual 12" Ported Box
ABC525Q 5.25" Speaker System
AEX350X 30-Band Equalizer Crossover/Line Driver
OZ Audio: Delta 2400 2400w Mono Class D Amplifier
HiFonics: Andromeda 125XIV 600w 4-Channel Amplifier

This is all im gettin for now cuz this will pretty much completely deplete my recent umph of money. Any other suggestions or recommendations will be appreciated.

Depends..if you want an all audiobahn setup..or wouldn't mind mix-n-matching a whole system..Also do you plan on competing in SQ with your car?..or SPL?.. or is it just to bump around with?..also if you want to run HUGE power.an extra battery and H/O Alternator would be in order...

yea i was gonna get an extra battery..as for the sq vs. riding question: how far do you think i could go with this stuff?? if it couldnt get me a high spot then ill prolly jus cruise around..

Extra battery is a bad thing..Unless you upgrade your alternator as well.
Cheapest alt so far for our cars I've seen is $670 for a 160 amp alternator..Which is the one I have. Tis good..it can supply juice for 1300wrms of class a/b Power, A/C and all accessories on and never drop below 13.4 volts...

With your apparent budget I'd look past audiobahnsubs to maybe something that would sound quite a bit better. And save your$$ on the Oz Audio Delta amp and buy a pair of amps for the subs [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG].

Going witht he costs of wha you posted so far. you can buy 2 Arc Audio 1500D-R's a pair of Arc Audio 2150CXL-R's Some Rainbow Pro series components and a pair of IDMAX's [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]...and bump insanely and sound phenominal

It may not be the "best" You can get...but it's precisely what I would do/am doing ..I have the rainbows. I'm down 1 Arc1500D-r I have 2 IDMAX D2's. Rainbow Pro's. Arc 2150CXL-R. 2 Audiocontrol EQT's a H/O Alternator. No extra battery...and an Eclipse 5441 (used to have an 8051 but the output voltage was aproblem with Arc Amps which put out max power with a 2.7 volt signal [IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]
