NEED advice for sub box(es).

I'm planning on making a box (or boxes, depending) for my 2K2 Sedan. It will be a spare-tire well box. They're for two JL Audio 10W0-4's. Now, my question is, what would be best sounding?

(a) make two separate boxes, and mount them beside each other, or
(b) make one single box holding both subwoofers.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of (a) and (b)? Any light shed on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

IT doesn't matter to the subs whether they are connected or not, as long as your placement of the two of them doesn't cancel the two of them. If you do build one box, be sure to seal off the box in the middle with a divider so that the subs get their own airspace, not shared. For a spare tire well sub box, it would be better, lighter and more fun to build a fiberglass enclosure. You might want to take a look at that.
