Well in most indoor car shows, you can't have the battery connected during the show thus no power for your accessories. If you want power, you have to pay for it $25, and you have to have the supplies. What kind of device would I need and how does it work.....I mean I need some kind of converter from AC to DC...... enough to basically power everything in my car.....sound system....lights.....strobes......underglow kit.....computer....lcd screen......etc.

you'd need a good 3-600 watt+ Ac/DC Converter..they aren't all that cheap...but check for some online.. their primarily used for shortwave radio amplifiers...

I called the people that are hosting the car show, and they said that the show is outdoors that means I can run my engine! Yay!
Thanks for the help anyways!
How else can I do this without keeping my engine on....I mean I could get another battery and hook that up couldn't I? How long would the battery last lets say if I got a Optima Yellow or Red Top....?

How do you calculate the number of amps that you are going to be drawing?
If Amps = Watts/Volts then:
A 600 watt amp = 50 amps (600/12)? That doesn't seem right to me for some reason
