Anyone know a good website which can help me in researching how to construct an amp for the car subwoofers, and also what type of wood should I use for the box? I was planning to put some neons in the sub also. I gotta do this for a school project and its time to go to class so that's why I couldn't search much. Thanks in advance.
that's what i thought he was trying to say too...
maybe he's mistaking an "AMP" for a subwoofer box??..

hmm actually how would u go about making your own amp? kinda hard i would think eh?
Small amps are really easy to make.. I've made 2 in high school..but their very dirty sounding and only put out like 6-8 watts.. making big amps is VERY VERy difficult...and not something you'd want to attempt unless you have a ready made pwoer supply from another amp and a degree in Electrical engineering..
Hehe, crack open an old amp and put all the parts together on a piece of plywood, it will look homemade.
No i'm not mistaking an amp from a sub box. I'm majoring in electronics but just have a little knowledge on amps right now. I just need some websites to buy parts to make this if anyone knows. Thanks.
amps are rediculously simple.
I have a schematic for a "300" (never tested) watt amp, all it is is a power transistor with a couple small 1 farad caps.
a very simple design, actually, if anybody wants it.
and you might even be able to take it to richard clark and see if you can get your $10,000 out of him =P
