im debating on making a box or just buying one. I have 2 10's and i waana know what kind of box is the best for a good loud bump also i wanna know if you guys know of any websites that have instructions on making box... thanks

actually in last months issuse of auto sound and security they installed an amp rack and a sub box with step by step instructions... might want to check that out.....me i just bought a generic box that was pretty deep in volume to handle my sub to make sure there getting enough air...

its alot cheaper to build one and will sound better with proper air space

yeah it cost about $20 to make one, and $120 to buy one, plus if you build one, you can meet the speaker spec's exactly, and make it fit where you want it to. good luck

actually its less then $50 to buy one. places like circuit city will charge you 120 but small stereo shops will only charge like $30-50. n they usually throw it in with any sub purchase....

best box for making subs LOUD is a big ported box. mohawk could probably tell you the exact specs such as how many cubic inches, what size ports, etc... i had my sony explods in a huge ported and it thumped pretty nice. the box barely fit my trunk. now i have a regular size bandpass and it sounds like crap...
