It's been 2 months since I had my car and the speakers suprised me. In-stock speakers sound pretty decent. I am thinking of getting the Infinity Basslink (200w) sub woofers. Yes, I thought about space, price, and the ease of installing. Would the Infinity basslink make any difference in the sound quality? Thanks for any experience / information.

Yeah the stock speakers do sound decent but they will blow out if u try to bump em. the 6x9's are only 45 watts. i switched to Digital Audio 6x9's and they can pump out up to 400 watts by them selves if hooked up to an amp. so if u go with the bass ur gonna need some more hi-end's.

6x9's 25Wrms 45-20khz +/-6db(<--Horrible response)

Also..Digital audio speakers cannot handle 400 watts..you got snagged by a marketing ploy.they can hand;e 400 watts peak for 3 seconds with a 1khz tone. They can actually take a whopping 60Wrms... Also never rate speakers by thei wattage ratings..that's how much power the speaker can thermally handle before blowing and how no bearing on how it will sound or perform.

my speakers sound great to me i aint tryin to bump at no 400 watts on 6x9's for bass tho, im waitin til i get my screen built in my dash then im gonna put two 12's in the trunk and use the 6x9's and 6 1/2's for hi's
