what is the difference in the eclipse aluminum dvc and the ti dvc......i seen the alum for 285 and the ti for like 550 what is the factor for the price jump

wel.. they are completely different subs.. the Ti has a better cooling system, thus more power handling. a Lighter cone, More excursion, a foam srround. Completely different motor structure and suspension. Can be used in ported enclosures. Sounds just as phnominal....can get insanely loud when ported. With 2000Wrms a dude with a 2000 Jetta and a pair of 12" Eclipse ti's hit a 164.2 ...

Bake..the Ti's are less power hungry than the alums..they have a lighter cone and stronger magnet structure.. Are you going for a single..or 2 sub setup?

Okay..sam eprice range as the alums.. Image Dynamics IDMAX..$305 shipped from MMXpres.com but there's a 3-5 week backorder..More sensitive than Eclipse alums and all the sound quality..and more power handling..
