best stage set-up for MY system?
alright this is what i've got
Kenwood KAC-929 1000w amp stereo/bridgable it's currently powering 2 10" Clarion DVC (400 w) subs... i think it's at 4 ohms, and there ain't enough power, would it be better at 2 ohms?
Infinity Kappa Series Components 60.5cs 90w RMS 270 Peak
Infinity Reference Series 3.5" 2-way speakers 25w RMS 75 Peak
So where should i mount these speakers (besides the kick panels)? i was thinking components in stock location, and 3.5's where the stock 6x9's are...
and i know i'm gonna need another amp, what should i be looking at just to power the components and 3.5"s?
thanks!

why did you get 3.5's..those are the most uselss speakers in existance dude... Sell the 3.5's..also I beleive your kenwood amp is only 4ohm mono stable...If your looking for more SPL..get new subs.. the 10" Clarions are not SPL mosters in the least.

some guy at the flea market had an exchange only policy, he had NOTHING good, so i picked up the 3.5's..
the subs sounded good in mono (good enough for me atleast)... but they kept blowing fuses in the amp, so now they're in stereo... what's the problem? need a more powerful amp, or is it the ohm load or what?

Mono at what phm load though?..the only way you'd blow fuses in that amp is if you tried running your system at 1 ohm mono...or you have the improper sized fuses in the amp. Try running it either 2ohm stereo, or 4ohm mono.

just found this.. cuz i can't find my instruction manual for the amp
http://www.carsound.com/reviews/amps/KAC-929.html
The KAC-929 is a two-channel amp with power ratings of 150 watts x 2 or 460 watts x 1 into 4 ohms and 230 watts x2 into 2 ohms. Features include a variable low pass filter, switchable bass boost, an expander, speaker level inputs, and fan-forced cooling.
so i guess 2 ohms is possible.
