Humm interesting do you have your headlights on when you do this? Noticed that on my 88 Civic had the same issue, but not on my new ride.

that happens to me.. but for me, its probably cuz i have either my subs or my neons on, and that drains some power.

Yes, I've noticed the same thing on my 2002 Civic Ex 2dr. The lights don't dim really bad, but alas I can tell that they do dim. It dosen't bother me since I got the extended 100,000 mile warrenty (bumper to bumper). Normally mine does it at 3am when i'm sitting in my driveway playing around with switches....ha ha ha ha

It's a CIVIC, you just can't expect a lot here. That's just the way it is. This is HONDA's economy car simple as that. It does a lot of things, just not all of them well. They save that stuff for ACCORD's and their flashy ACURA line of automobiles.

i've noticied that it does dim a little. i just think that it's because the window motors draw a lot of amps

Get a aftermarket battery with more output... or for people with neosn and more aftermarket electronices.. wire up a secondary battery...it might work

A battery won't help, if it is really bothering you, get a High Output aftermarket Alternator. What are you running to make the lights dim so much?

For Dimming when your using windows and such...it won't dim if the cars moving or engine revving. When the engines Idling the alternator doesn't put out much current and the wee little battery just will drop a volt or 2 under load pretty easily... For that case there's 2 solutions.. a bigger battery (which will put more load on your alternator) or a High Output Alternator AND upgraded battery.

Cheers
