the power in our cars.....not enough or what??
i keep realising that when i wind my windows up or play around with any other electronics lights dim so bad damn .......what should i change or go to honda to get this changed because i think it's annoying
Yes, I've noticed the same thing on my 2002 Civic Ex 2dr. The lights don't dim really bad, but alas I can tell that they do dim. It dosen't bother me since I got the extended 100,000 mile warrenty (bumper to bumper). Normally mine does it at 3am when i'm sitting in my driveway playing around with switches....ha ha ha ha
It's a CIVIC, you just can't expect a lot here. That's just the way it is. This is HONDA's economy car simple as that. It does a lot of things, just not all of them well. They save that stuff for ACCORD's and their flashy ACURA line of automobiles.

For Dimming when your using windows and such...it won't dim if the cars moving or engine revving. When the engines Idling the alternator doesn't put out much current and the wee little battery just will drop a volt or 2 under load pretty easily... For that case there's 2 solutions.. a bigger battery (which will put more load on your alternator) or a High Output Alternator AND upgraded battery.
