WTF!? My PS2 making my car sound turboed!? Help!

I finished my PS2 install last night and finally picked up the memory card today so I could run the DVD player in it. Everthing's up and running, but somethings up with the install on the headunit. I have the Sony Xplod CDX 750A (pretty sure thats the #) and I had to buy an adaptor in order to get sound into the headunit...something to do with the bus input or something. I've checked the connections and everyhting seems fine, but I'm getting this horrible pre-amp buzzy type sound whenever I put the headunit on CD-AUX1 to get the ps2 sound. And everything I accelerate, my car starts to whine just like a supercharger but it honestly behaves in the exact way a turbo sounds. What the hell is going on and how do I get rid of the horrible buzzing when the car idles!?

It's the power inverter you used. Run your RCA's as far away from the inverter as possible.....

Nope....not really.. the noise is caused my electromagnetic inferance.. not a grounding loop...Just use good RCA's and keep the RCA's as far away from the inverter and ppower wire as possible.

had the same problem with my friends tahoe, n yes its most likely the power inverter... he had his running directly from the bat and it made the noise, now he has one where you hook it up to the cig lighter n theres no noise... try powering the ps2 using an extension cord to your house, if the noise its gone you know its your inverter
