Will I be ok???

I just took out my trunk springs so I could fit my Pioneer TS-A6969 4-Way 6x9's in the back...

Now my question is.... Will the trunk seals be ok???

The trunk is pretty heavy without those...??

Thanks

I believe the trunk seals should be fine. the springs help to keep the trunk lid up. just watch out cuz the lid could close on you if you dont hold it up.

I'm pretty sure the springs don't effect the trunk closing correctly. I think they are just for holding it up when you have it open.

Yeah, exactly what UncleB said. There's these rubber stoppers that prevent the trunk from going down any further. You can screw these in and out to adjust the trunk height when closed. If you have any problems with alignment, then try adjusting those...
