Easier way to remove the stock hu...?
When I had the stock HU removed from my car and then eventually put back in, it wasn't put back in quite the same way it was when I got the car. The parts aren't completely flush across the dash and it just needs to be adjusted a little. I had it done at best buy, but now I wanted to take the stock one out again and fix this and put it back. When best buy took it out they didn't do all of the stuff that is listed in the DIY on this site. I was wondering if there is an easier way to get to the screws behind the power outlet. They did some of it but not the first couple of steps. Anybody know? Thanks!

if you were following the DIY on ghosty's site. that is the quickest way. we have done it more than our fair share of times and unless they didn't put back the two bolts that lay behind that 12v power outlet, you won't get that deck out any sooner.

Well first off you can always go back to Best Buy and yell at them out but I know people that had bad experences with Best Buy. I know when I did my deck I was sitting in a parking lot and noticed that I didnt snap the main dash piece back in place in one corner. Try that. That fixed it for me.
