I am looking to upgrade the sound system in my 04 coupe em2 and I've landed on the Kicker QSS67 kit for the lower front door and the tweeter, but according to the interwebs these speakers (6.75 inches) are to big for the stock mounts which can apparently only handle up to 6.5 inches. I was wondering if anybody in here has had success fitting 6.75 inch speakers in their 04 civic with a little cutting and/or with a mounting bracket. Additionally because my car doesnt come with tweeters would the best places to cut be the dash or front sail panels?
