CD-R/RWs

I'm sure this question has been asked, but before I waste all my blank CDs troubleshooting this I just want to know if anyone's had any luck with the stock CD player ('01 Sedan) playing their blank CDs. I have both -Rs and -RWs, and I can burn pretty much anything onto them.

The stereo spit my CD-R straight out so I thought I'd better check because CD prices these days are extortion for how obsolete they are! Thanks in advance.

Just get a deck with Bluetooth, or usb/aux. Solved for under $100, and you'll have hands-free, which is law pretty much everywhere now. Check out Crutchfield.com.

Re: CD-R/RWs

Now I have to laugh at this post. not you but the idea. I downgraded from a 2012 with BlueTooth that allowed me to us an ipod or mp3 plauer without a cable... to an '08 and tried long ago to play some pf my CD, recorded and/or created myself.. and it just spits them out at me.. thought it was broken and never gave it another thought. PLugged in player to Aux port.

Maybe I'll have to dig out a factory created CD and see if that works... next time I take it for a ride., now that would be funny cause I'm an engineer who has done trouble shooting devices all my life.

Haha thank you - I forgot to mention I don't use Bluetooth. I know...it's insane. Crutchfield is solid and I appreciate the recommendation

I know...it's a funny predicament so many years after CD players have been largely dropped. Good luck! The experimenting can be half the fun.

Re: CD-R/RWs

not sure if the case, but older CD players might not be able to read R/RW CD disks
