IDMAX makes a dual voice coil 2 ohm sub and dual voice coil 4 ohm sub.
so when you wire them up you get
dual 2 ohm sub
parrellel = 1 ohm
series = 4 ohm
dual 4 ohm sub
parrellel = 2 ohm
series = 8 ohm

if thats the only two kinda IDMAX they make, youll get 1200 watts no matter what. that amp puts out 1200 at 2 or one ohm, and DVC 4 ohms wired in parrallel is 2, and 2 ohm DVC is 1 ohm total. your set!

Best off getting the Dual 4phm versions..the JBL is a little more efficient at 2ohm and has alower THD rating and better s/n ratio's at 2ohm....
