problem installing dead unit - dash lights not working now
ok i installed my deck it was working until i screwed everthing back in.
now my dash does not light up, cd does not work, and keyless entry doesn't work either.
i checked some fuses and they were ok. anyone know what could be the problem?
oh, and my srs light is on too.

Rep Power: 0 dude take out your center console and plug those three plugs back into the heater/controls unit . one of them came unplugged whne you ere installing it no big deal it shouldnt take you more than 10 mins to fix =) good lu8ck!

Rep Power: 370 Did you check the fuses under the hood. The fuse box is by the battery. That same thing happened to me when I installed my HU. Now I know why they say disconnect the battery terminal.

Rep Power: 0 mohawk, how do they repair the dash lights? what does "blew the dash panel" mean exactly.
hopefully i can weasel my way to have it repaired under warranty.

Rep Power: 370 If you want to weasel your way into them fixing it, put in your old unit, tell them you dont know what happened.

Rep Power: 0 im sure you already fixed the problem...when people have this happen after putting in a new CD deck they usually run the dimmer wire to the CD player to the wrong wire so it sends a power signal back to the dash shuttin it off
