need help (speakers) PLEASE

i have a 2002 civic ex w/ power windows. i took my car to get speakers installed in the rears and the fronts. the guy told me that the 5 1/4 jbl's i wanted in the front do not fit. apparently the widows would hit the magnet in the back of the speaker. he also said the stock speakers are oddly shaped to allow free movement on the windows. he said he might be able to customise some kind of frame that sit the speaker closer to the panel. any ideas!?!? anyone else have similar problem? thanks

are u kidding me... possibly read some of the previous posts about this topic or do a SEARCH. Here's a hint you will need a spacer to fit the speakers in correctly

for those even 1/2 thick plywood or MDF Circles (baffles) will do...I installed a few of those allready..and those with power windows apparently have afew hairs more clearance than us roll-downers
