DRL Instrument panel light
DRL Instrument panel light
Hey Guys,
I've been having some DRL issues so I just pulled the fuse as I am getting seperate lights. Problem is the DRL light on the instrument panel stays on... Is there any way of waiving it off? Thanks

Re: DRL Instrument panel light
This is important! You should always state any mods to the system.
There is a DRL relay which cuts power to the circuit if a bulb is burnt out (or if the relay thinks the bulb is burnt out).
LED's create far less resistance so the relay cuts power to one of them, look into installing a resistor to boost the resistance of the bulb which does not light up.

Re: DRL Instrument panel light
It should.
Basically a relay has two coils in it and when voltage is allowed to flow through one coil, by electro magnetics it causes the other coil to push electrons. (If you're interested look into Faraday's law).
So granted the relay was working before the LEDs, it should still be functional.
