Yes I have done a search and what I found was very vague,
so I'm asking specifically...

My Kenwood HU has a orange/white wire with a tag on it that says "Illumi".
The manual says this wire is a "Dimmer Control Wire".
There is no orange wire on the HU.

but my Metra wiring harness has a orange/white wire that says "Dimmer"
AND a orange wire that says "Illumination".

so, which one of these do I hook the "Illumi" wire up to?

BE VERY CAREFUL, DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT WIRE TO USE...... OR YOU WILL BURN OUT YOUR DASH PANEL AND COST YOU $200 TO REPLACE
