How do I install pioneer 6x9" speakers in my 04 Civic Coupe deck?

I just installed new infinity 6x9 in my 02 civic coupe. In order to do this I looked up how to guides online such as videos from youtube on how to remove my panels safely.

Google- Rear speaker install 04 civic coupe. You can even substitute the 04 with 02 and find the same video.


Once this is done you can remove the old speakers with the appropriate tools and pop in the new speakers. You will need some wiring terminals for the speakers.

Also I made the error of assuming they would fit, however the magnets were much bigger then the stock 6x9. So i had to remove the torsion bars that hold the trunk open. This was a small sacrifice to pay considering how much I love the new speakers. If you have any questions in particular feel free to ask. I will be replacing my front speakers next week as well and will give you more info on how to do this if you need it.
