2004 Civic LX Left Head and Brake Light Out

Both left hand headlight and LH brake light suddenly went out. Engine compartment fuses all good, new bulbs did not fix. LH Back signal light works (same bulb) brake only does not. Any clues?

Both left hand headlight and LH brake light suddenly went out.
They probably quit separately, you only noticed them at the same time. There is no common circuit between one headlight and one brake light.
LH Back signal light works (same bulb) brake only does not
The tail and brake share a single bulb on each side.
The turn signal is a separate bulb on each side.

Any clues?
No, you have to do the checking.

What is missing from the brake light bulb socket? Power or ground? (positive or negative)
