2003 LX Keyless entry

My daughter just purchased a 2003 Civic LX. This is my very first Honda automobile (I have owned some bikes). I think I found the answer searching the forum, but hopefully someone can confirm this for me.

I believe the 2003 LX does NOT have a keyless entry system.

I just wanted to make sure that there is no system, not that the previous owner lost the key fob.

My USA catalog shows only EX had factory installed keyless.

Keyless for lower models was available as a dealer add-on accessory.
It was a very popular accessory here.

In order to figure out if someone had the accessory keyless installed, you probably need to look for the wiring and control unit. Follow the installation instructions to figure this part out.
