4PC LEDGlow Kit Professional Installation Cost

http://www.ledunderbody.com/pink-4pc...hting-kit.aspx

I'm about to order this kit for my 05 Civic EX Sedan. Even though the installation is pretty simple, I'm probably still going to have it installed at a shop nearby.

Any ideas on how much a custom shop would charge me to install something like this?

(I'm probably going to be asking a lot of questions like this because I don't really trust myself when it comes to installing stuff like this).

Its hard to say.. Depends on the shop. I would call around to a few places and see how much they would charge and then pick the one you feel will give you the best customer service..or the cheapest if that is what is important.

I would say between $50 to $200 depending on the place. Might be able to find a good DIY around if you decided to give it a shot anyway..

Right on, I can call a few places and find out. I found some pretty good DIY's on youtube so far that look pretty simple, but based on botched electrical work I've done to my own cars in the past, it's a really intimidating undertaking for me. I've never loved a car like I love my honda and I don't wanna destroy it. lol

Right, The hardest part is having the paitence to deal with the little things that come up when doing yourself. Sometimes I wish i had payed someone for the headache, other times i realize how much better i feel about doing myself. Eitherway I hope it works out..

post some pictures of your car when you get a chance.

Re: 4PC LEDGlow Kit Professional Installation Cost

I just watched another installation video. I can totally do it myself. I just need to invest in the tools, which will be reusable anyway, so NBD. Thanks again for the input.

hell yeah save yourself some money and do it yourself. i would recommend a multi color kit though that way when you get sick of the pink you can change it according to mood.

Just make sure you're confident in DIY stuff and it should be no problem.
It's always fun to work on cars and learn as you go.

From my experiences, with enough free time, doing it yourself yields better quality results and a sense of satisfaction. Though I admit my electrical work is extremely shoddy, haha. I still pay to have things done like tire mounting, body painting, sometimes oil changes, etc.

Re: 4PC LEDGlow Kit Professional Installation Cost

I thought about getting a multi-color kit, but I don't think I'll like any other color in my car because anything but pink would clash with the motif I'm conceptualizing. I won't be ordering it for a couple of weeks, so I'll give it some thought before I make any decisions.

I'm excited about installing it myself at this point. It's going to be a lot easier than I originally thought. I just need to familiarize myself with the process and make sure I have all the tools necessary before I get started (like a trim tool, for one).

I have unmedicated A.D.D, so if I have to stop before I finish, it may never get done. lol

Re: 4PC LEDGlow Kit Professional Installation Cost

I ordered the pink kit the other day. It should be arriving today! I'm ridiculously pumped to do the installation myself and I'll probably do video coverage of it. Before I left Philly last month, I bought most of the tools I'd need to do any maintenance or basic lighting installations on my car.

If the kit doesn't arrive today, it will be here monday to be certain.

*squeals with excitement*
