2002 Civic OEM security system
I have 2 x 2002 Civics with factory installed security systems. The remote key units are aging and often just will not work even with new 2025 batteries installed. Can the security system be disconnected without disabling the car? If so please advise how.
More than once I have locked the car with the key and cannot open with the remote. So opening with the key sets off the alarm! A pain!
