Fitting 6.5's in 2002 Civic Coupe LX

I've searched all around and found guides on HOW to do it, but I know how. What I cannot find is the dimensions of the speaker holes? My Type-R is a 2.5in bottom mount and a 2 3/8 top mount. How big of a spacer will I need? Can I fit it under the stock panel? If someone could provide the specs for room behind the hole and from the hole to the grill, that'd be wonderful. Please and thanks.

According to Crutchfields website the speaker fits under the stock grill with a braket (that they include). Dot know the dimensions, maybe someone else will. Can't you remove the door panel and measure?

I can. But I figured I'd try and plan what size wood I'd need before ripping the car apart to avoid having it out of commission for as long as possible.
