Hello,
I'm an Alpine fan, but have had a Sony that was good. Check out Crutchfield .com for the best selection of audio stuff. When you buy from there it is guaranteed to fit and they have everything that you need for a professional instal. Comes with step by step instructions for your specific vehicle.

Doubt you'll find any decent double dins for $250

I'd just stick with a good single din with OEM cabinet

If ur looking for double dins try places like Best Buy. I got my Kenwood DNX5120 for $169 b/c it was last yrs model and they needed it gone. Cant complain since it has Garmin navi built-in. See if any places have stock they need to get rid of.

It really depends on what you are looking for in a radio and how much wire running youd like to do along with not damagmg anything. i think kenwood has the best variety of all manufacture for double dins.

Re: Head Unit and Sub help please

agreed kenwood is a great company for stereos and amplifiers. id stay away from kenwood subs tho. but i personally have a single din kenwood and a 1000w monoblock kenwood amp and alpine type r sub and it slams pretty hard, probably the best sounding system ive ever owned.
but a friend of mine has a double din (not sure of the model) from kenwood and its lasted about 3 years still goin strong. its got bluetooth and ipod controls and navi.

definetly order from crutchfield at least the stereo because they give you a big packet of information for our cars. and usually youll get the harness and install kit for like 80% off i think mine was

as for the wiring just fish the rca and remote turn on wires down the dash into the console (just tuck it under the edge) then mine are under the floormats in the backseat then around the cushion into the trunk. power wire is ran through the passenger door jam under the quarter panel and floorboards to the backseat into the trunk.

ALWAYS run your signal wires on the opposite side of the car than your power wire
