i just sent in my deck to JVC and they said they were replacing the CHASSIS CHASSY however you spell it

what part is that on the deck????

If I'm not mistaken, chassis generally refers to the frame holding your HU's guts in. . .can someone confirm?

Confirmed..it's generally steel and houses your HU's internal componenets.

i sent it in because the damn wires werent working for one of the speaker
i also told them that the cd doesn't eject all the way...

hmm i hope they fixed the damn wires because the chassy must be for the ejecting problem.....ah well
will see when i get the deck again.
