we have a 2001 civic that just all of a sudden has the following problems:
ac compressor won't turn on
intermittent wipers won't work (other positions do work)
parking brake light is on (parking brake is not)
ceiling light (when door opens only position) won't work
automatic door locks won't work

we just had one hell of a lightening storm - could that be it
no fuses at all are blown

When we called about getting this part they said the car needs to be reprogrammed??? Can anyone advise on this?

I we decide on a used one, does it have to be from the LX package?

Sounds like Fusebox (MICU) is bad

No programming. Plug and play, if you get a good one.


There's like 16 different original part number choices depending on year/trim/body/trans etc.
