FYI...

This is inspired by one of my friend who likes to mod his car so much. Last year, he bought the Subaru sub woofer like this one

He put it in his RAV4 and it worked great in my opinion. First, it's compact and I think it should be modified to go under our seat. Second, it needs the speaker level input (L and R). The sub itself does have gain control and freq cutoff.

I like this because I don't want to carry a big sub, it hurts my ears : )

The reason is from time to time you will find this sub woofer costs less than $80 on eBay. Last week I found one that costs around $70 on ebay. It disappeared already.

This is just an idea for a minimalism style.

Hey, gearbox, this might be a good complement project for the OEM head unit.

Why not just buy the slim line kenwood one and not had to fiddle with factory stuff. Probably better anyway,

Actually, that kenwood is very nice also. The price from crutchfield is over $200 which is pretty expensive but if the quality is better, which probably will, then it is every interesting also. Thanks for a comment.
