A pic of my door panel...

I thought this might be useful for those that are thinking of using the stuff that I used for deadening sound. This door isn't done yet. I'll work on it some more over the weekend and I'll post a pic of a finished door. BTW, I used this stuff called Pergo Silent Step (100 square feet from Home Depot for $65) and 3M's spray adhesive.

You are planning on damping the outside door metal and the door metal right behind that panel are you not?

WhiteRabbit: The blue patches on this panel were first put on a half a year ago. I took this panel off again today and everything seems allright.

SQCivic: Yes, although I don't think I'll use the Pergo. If I do, then I need a stronger adhesive than 3M's spray adhesive. Plus I'll add fluffy padding onto the door panels like the rear panels have. That should take care of the door panels. Lots of work though. Cutting out all of the little shapes is a biotch.

I coated the whole inside of my door panel with Raammat, it looks pretty cool, I'll just have to wait and see if the adhesive still holds over the summer.
