2005 Honda Civic ex Coupe

How many watts do the stock speakers have in a 2005 Honda civic ex coupe??? This is my first car and i want to put sub woofers in the trunk but would i need to replace all the speakers in the car???

The subs are Alpine 500-watt Dual 12" if that helps at all

Yea, you can add a sub without changing your speakers..

I think the OEM speakers are like 8W or something tiny like that. An iPod's headphone jack puts out enough so you can hear the speakers just fine.

No. Just as long as you're supplying ample power to the speakers and subs..

I'm running 2 alpine amps, alpine front speakers, infinity rear speakers, and a JL audio sub, and it sounds badass
