Infinity Perfect Components
I am thinking of buying the Infinity Perfect 6.1 Component set for $270 shipped, but I have a few questions?
Is this a good price?
Is there something else in the same price range that would be better?
What advantages do these have over the Kappas?
Thanks for the help.

they sound decent on deck power but have been given over 200 watts and never really got loud... the tweet is ---WAY--- harsh, even 3 db down. the midrange is probably the most defined ive ever heard. the midbass isnt very low, but is about as defined as it gets for that price range.
not worth teh money IMO cause you can get JL XR for that money. much better midbass, and one of the smoothest twet around.
but if you listen to exclusively techno, and have 10's for your low end, then youd be hell bent to find a better set for the money, or even significantly more.

<< will the perfects even FIT in the doors?! i assume there is some modification to be done >>
haha oops, i assumed youd be using kicks. OK......
they will absolutely fit in teh doors, with relative ease and about an hour's work with a dremel but you'll never be able to roll your window down all teh way again...... price to pay, its a DEEP speaker

<< i doubt it. there arent many speakers out there that will let you do that without heavy modification to the door panel. even sony X-plod =/ is too deep >>
Umm I have Focal Polykevlars in m doors.. too 20 minutes of modifications and my windows roll down all the way.. Thems is about the biggest/deepest magnets for any speaker.. Just adequate spacing and a little Shaving of the speaker grills( really the door panel) for the surrounds to clear and you're set.
Cheers
