Infinity Basslink... your opinions

Sup guys.. i'm not lookin to get a real expensive subwoffer system and trunk space is important to me. so i'm leaning on getting the Infinity Basslink subwoofer. what do you guys think ? Anyone of you guys actually hear these things in real life ? do they put out good bass ? any opinions would be appreciated =)

can get alot better fo rthe money... ALOT BETTER. but you will sacrifice space. you can get a single 12 setup that hits massively harder than that, will go much deeper, take up only like 1.5 times the space, and cost about $100 less.

if you wanna take ZERO space, you can cut holes in your rear deck and put in freeair 8's. done properly will also sound better than the basslink.

i dunno, its just really really expensive, that basslink

they sound allright..bump ha;f decent. Nothing impressive. You can get an inexpensive amp and decent sub for the same price that would have better performance though.

You could get an 8" sub like mine and it fits under the normal floor next to the spare tire so that you lose zero trunk space (except wherever you put the amp at.

Pretty nice Ed...

Ever removed the side carpetting on the trunk. Where the rear fenders are you can use some creativeness and mount a small amp behind the carpet to keep it all stealth. Fo a single 8 or 10, and just to have enough bass to cover music properly it would completely stealth...just an Idea I been throwing around for my friend who's paranoid and won;t put a system is car because it'll get jacked.. .

Cheers

I love my basslink. I didn't want to be one of those jackasses that rattles the fillings out of your teeth from 3 blocks away, I just wanted better bass response and I didn't want to sacrafice trunk space. The Basslink is great for that. Get it on eBay, you'll save a bundle.

i think that the spare tire integration has alot of merit, the money you save on amp and sub compared to a basslink will go right back into install equipment, maybe some fiberglass, a nice littel grill or something, but the sound will be much more fantastic.

but if your not the kind of guy that likes to get his hands dirty, yeah i guess basslink is a decent option (at least its not a bazooka tube )
