mine is behind the back seat under the seat backing on the metal frame just make sure to sand it down to bare metal and make dure were ever you drill there is nothing that can be damaged.

Wherever you want... like the two above say the only important thing is that its metal to metal contact. No paint allowed!!!

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

i grounded mine on the ridge between the seats and the trunk. you can see it in the pic below. you can also see how i used hinges (due to the odd angle needed) to secure my sub box so it wasn't sliding around.

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

Mine's in a most peculiar place. Up.

This picture doesn't quite include the actual bolt but you can see where it goes.
It's bolted to the underside of the rear deck, essentially.
Edit: Reason being, the ground is coming from my capacitor and it was a shorter distance to go up than down. Maybe I'll move it down to the floor at some point.

The amp under my driver seat is grounded to the seat belt bolt. (In case you're curious)

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

if your going to drill like i said before be careful a friend of mine helped me ground a system in my old car to the trunk floor and drilled rite into my gas tank it wasn't pretty.also mine is grounded were electric130 put his.if your box is sliding around just use industrial strength velcro.

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

i used a hole back there if i remember right. you'll need to sand down the paint to bare metal so you get good contact with the chassis.

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

i used a hole thats in the top of the trunk. its just to the side of where your trunk light is, i sanded it down to the metal then put a nut and bolt through it. ill take a pic later on. it was extremely easy access and kind of out of the way.

Re: Where to connect the ground wire...

measure a hole as best you can, then go to Lowe's. find a sheet metal screw that the shaft is slightly smaller than the hole (but as close to the size as possible), but the threads are larger than the hole. that way, when you go to screw it in, it will basically bite into the metal with the threads. you'll want to apply as much pressure as possible when starting to screw it in so that you don't round off the threads, or enlarge the hole to where the screw just keeps spinning when it should be tight.
