I just wondered what type of material that is because it's sweet how the neon shines through.

On what looks to be etched or sandblasted fiberglass..could be Mylar..could be an Acyrlic ...post likely it's sandblasted plexi with neon backlighting..

mohawk one of these days i'm gonna think up a question to stump you! LOL! that's a really cool idea though, what derek did... maybe i don't get out much but i've never seen that quite like that before... i didn't know plexiglass could be that strong.

that 2 linear feet of plexiglass costs more than 50 bucks if you were to buy it at retail. that is the extra thick stuff.

Depends.. if you use smaller pieces of plexi and brace them you get away with 3/8" Plexi without troubles which is alot cheaper...

Then again some folks use 1" Lexan... $$$$$$$$$$$ Cha-----Ching!
