an amp install kit with power wires big enough for those amps, and 2 sets of RCA cables will be at least $100. here's an example. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....=1172276905021 it will probably take someone without any experience about half a day to install a kit like this and get everything mounted. i'd highly recommend finding a friend to help that's done one before. they're not hard, but you have to figure out where to run everything.

Re: 2001 civic ex sub instalation
if you want each sub on its own amp here is the list
i would hook up one amp first you will need
1 power wire
1 remote wire
1 ground wire
1 set of RCA's
Speaker Wire
Get that one hooked up then run the wires from that to the other FOr Example
Take another power wire and put it in the amp already installed then run it to the other same with the ground wire and remote wire
You will need another set of RCA's
Also make sure that your CD deck has enough inputs for the two sets of RCA's
EX: ( two red and two white )
Any other questions just ask i have done this multiple times

1 4ga power cable from the bat to a fuse then back to a distro block
2 8ga cables from the fused distro to the amp powers
1 remote wire from the HU to the first amp, jumpered to the second amp
1 4ga ground to the chassis to a non-fused distro
2 8ga cables from the ground distro to the amps
speaker wire from each amp to the subs
for the RCA's.....if your amps only have an input, then you'd need a Y-Cable to split each channel and a long RCA from the head unit to the Y-Cable and then 2 short (probably 3ft) patch cables to the amp. if your amps have an input and an RCA output, then run the RCA from the HU to the first one input, then a short patch from the output to the second one input. make sure to keep the gains and other settings the same on both amps.

Re: 2001 civic ex sub instalation
I will be installing an amp to my civic 02 ex and have a question....
I have the HU and everything ready I only want to know how to run the power wire from the battery to the cabin?? Is there supposed to be a little hole in the firewall??
I remember that in my previous car accord 98 LX , there was a pre-made hole (in the firewall) with a black cap on the driver side so I ran the power cable through that hole, but on the civic I didnt see any hole.

Re: 2001 civic ex sub instalation
FYI
Regarding my question:
There is a pre-made hole on the right side, but you have to disassemble the passenger side compartment (its easy, two clips, one on each side). A lot of wires go throught that hole so you have to make room for you HU power wire.
