Are the tweeters on the doors in the 05 coupe ex se crap? I'm planning on buying a full system soon so I was wondering if I should buy a new pair.

also anyone got any good recommendations for subs and replacements for the rear and in door speakers?

theyre pioneer premiere speakers in the Civic, and not too bad. I changed them out for Polk DB's

I ran the basslink for a while because i didnt have enough money for a full blown system when i first got the car. People thought i had a 12" sub in the back and said it hit on the spot bass nothing boom boom boom but it filled in the missing links of the stereo.

Yes they are crap. Get a set up component speakers up front. Components come with the woofers (5 1/2 or 6 1/2 for our cars), the crossovers, and the tweetwer. You will have to do some work getting the aftermarket location but many have done it.

i would recommend diamond audio components and jl audio subs and amps.

they are base pioneers, unless the SE got premium stuff which is possible. most civic have regular bottom grade paper pioneers.
